OUR VISION

At Ingoldisthorpe Primary School we have thought carefully and worked with our pupils, staff and governors to create a shared vision that reflects our values. We came together to explore and write our vision. With the help of our local incumbent we chose the following bible passage to root our vision in biblical teachings:

The Parables of the Prodigal Son

”Celebrate and be glad… he was lost and is found.” Luke 15:11-32

From this we worked together, prayed together and reflected together on why we are distinctly Christian and what we aim to achieve.

This is the vision we created together:

We are a family school where everyone matters. At the heart of our vision is a strong, positive influence on the high quality of staff and pupil relationships and well-being. Pupils are valued as individuals and thrive in their personal development. Our school’s link with the local church and parish is very strong and pupils and parents acknowledge this partnership as a distinctive feature of the school.

WELCOME TO A FAMILY SCHOOL WHERE EVERYONE MATTERS

Welcome to Ingoldisthorpe Church of England VA Primary School from the staff, governors, pupils and parents. We are a small village school, located on the edge of the Sandringham Estate. We have peaceful rural views all around us and we are within a few miles of the beautiful North Norfolk coast. We learn both indoors and outdoors. In fact, once a week the whole school goes outdoors to learn in nearby woodlands.

We are proud of our long history and Christian ethos: a family school where everyone matters. We are able to offer a secure, friendly family environment. It is an ideal setting for children to develop, thrive and succeed. We are proud of our caring, professional and experienced team of staff. We have a very supportive Governing Body and 'Friends' of the school. We value the strong links we maintain with our parents, the community and church. We are always happy to display our children's work in the Schools' Tent at the Royal Sandringham Flower Show each year.

Many children begin their education in Little Owls - our Nursery provision for children in the year before they start school.

We have a breakfast and teatime club each day. Breakfast is provided, as well as a snack during the teatime club. Children may arrive at school from 7.30am. At the end of the day we provide clubs that are run by school staff. We also offer a teatime club for your children if they wish to stay longer than 4pm. The teatime club last until 5:00pm. Some clubs, such as cookery and clubs run by outside agencies, have a separate charge. Please enquire at the office, by phone or email for further information.
